Dr. Pawelek completed the rigorous four-year certification process to be come a licensed dentist. Following dental school, he spent an additional two years committing himself solely to the specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He graduated from his residency and successfully challenged the American Board of Orthodontics to become a board-certified orthodontist, a distinction only one in four orthodontists hold. He continues to place an emphasis and commitment to continue to learn and excel through continuing education courses in order to provide lifelong, quality patient care.
He is also a member in good standing with the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
Outside the Office
While in dental school in Houston, Dr. Pawelek was fortunate to meet his wife Stephanie, a native of Clear Lake City and a graduate of Clear Lake High School. They enjoy all things outdoors including skiing (on water and snow), hiking, working out, attending sporting events, and hunting. They also enjoy long walks with their golden-doodle, Theodore, as well as spending time with family and friends.
